The Future: 2026 Candidate Vetting Process
TheFuture is a coalition of Virgin Islanders committed to advancing transparent, accountable, and forward-thinking leadership across our territory. This page invites you to be considered for our 2026 slate.
Three bodies. One standard.
We are vetting candidates for three elected bodies in the 2026 cycle:
Legislature of the Virgin Islands
Senators representing every district and at-large — the body that writes the laws and sets the budget for our territory.
Virgin Islands Board of Elections
The board that safeguards how Virgin Islanders vote — protecting integrity, access, and confidence in our elections.
Virgin Islands Board of Education
The board that sets policy for our schools — shaping the education and futures of the next generation of Virgin Islanders.
Three steps, fully transparent.
